Chennai: State School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyamozhi today announced the schedule for Classes 10, 11 and 12 final examinations.
As per the official schedule Class 10 exams are scheduled to begin from 9 May and for Class 12 students exams will begin from 5 May.
Along with the Class 10, 12 board exam dates, Tamilnadu Department of School Education has also released the exam dates for Classes 6 to 9 and 11.
For Class 11, the exams will be held from 9 to 31 May. Practical exams for 10, 11 and 12 students will commence on 25 April.
Mahesh also said the date schedule for the Board examination will be published on the website http://tnschools.gov.in
Meanwhile, government schools are focussing on completing the syllabus for the second round of revision exams slated at the end of this month.
The first round of revision exams was held in February. It was the major round of exams that students of Classes X and XII wrote for the current academic year.
The School Education Department recently clarified that the marks of the revision exams, which are being conducted for Classes 10 and 12, will not be included in the final examination results.
