Yesteryear heroine Laila is back to Tamil cinema with PS Mithran-Karthi’s Sardar. Sardar will mark her return to the big screen after a span of 16 years.
Sardar, starring Raashi Khanna as the female lead, will feature Karthi in two roles – a father and his son. The rest of the film’s cast includes Rajisha Vijayan, Yugi Sethu, Murali Sharma and Munishkanth. Produced by Prince Pictures, the film will have music by GV Prakash. Mithran’s frequent collaborator George C Williams is in charge of Sardar’s cinematography.
