In a decisive statement, former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and ousted AIADMK leader O Panneerselvam on Wednesday ruled out the possibility of working with AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami again. He said that he along with his supporters would decide on an alliance once the Parliamentary election dates are notified.
Panneerselvam said, “There is no possibility of working together with Edappadi Palaniswami again. I have already said that we can win elections only united, but they are not listening. Once the Parliament elections are announced we will make a decision on alliance.”
Earlier this month, Madras HC barred OPS from using the name, flag and symbol of AIADMK. The High Court also prevented the former AIADMK leader from continuing with the claim as coordinator and using the party’s letterhead.
