In a chilling display of violence, the son of a former AIADMK councillor was brutally hacked to death in broad daylight by a gang of six assailants in Ariyamangalam, Tiruchirappalli. The victim, identified as Muthukumar (32), fell victim to the longstanding feud between two families, marking yet another tragic chapter in the ongoing cycle of vendetta.The incident unfolded on a bustling street in Ariyamangalam, where Muthukumar was intercepted by the gang while returning to his pig farm on a two-wheeler. In a brazen attack that sent shockwaves through the community, the assailants mercilessly assaulted Muthukumar with weapons, leaving him fatally wounded on the roadside. Despite desperate attempts to save him, Muthukumar succumbed to his injuries before medical assistance could arrive.
