To address the anticipated surge in travel demand during the upcoming Full Moon weekend from June 21st to 23rd, Rapid Transport Corporation Managing Director Mohan has announced the deployment of 1,435 special buses across Tamil Nadu. This initiative aims to ensure smooth and comfortable travel for passengers during this busy period.

A significant portion of the special buses will operate from Kilambakkam in Chennai, with 1,010 buses scheduled to depart for key destinations across Tamil Nadu.

Additionally, 135 special buses will run from Chennai and Coimbatore to destinations such as Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur, and Bengaluru. A further 200 special buses will connect major locations like Bengaluru, Tiruppur, Erode, and Coimbatore to various other places.

To enhance passenger comfort, the Government Rapid Transport Corporation will offer air-conditioned 30-seater and sleeper buses. These premium services will be available for routes to Tiruvannamalai from multiple cities including Chennai, Madurai, Salem, Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi, and Bengaluru on June 21st. These buses will be equipped with advanced booking options, providing a more comfortable and convenient travel experience.

Moreover, there will be 30 special buses operating from Chennai’s Koyambedu Bus Stand to Tiruvannamalai on June 21st and 22nd, catering specifically to the increased travel needs during this period.
