As anticipation builds for the upcoming action-adventure spectacle “Kanguva,” starring Suriya and directed by Siva, fans are in for a cinematic treat like never before. Scheduled for release on October 10, the film promises to enthrall audiences with its grand scale and captivating storyline, spanning across two parts.

Producer KE Gnanavel Raja recently confirmed that “Kanguva” will indeed be presented as a two-part epic, with the second installment tentatively slated for a January 2027 release. This ambitious decision underscores the filmmakers’ commitment to delivering an immersive and expansive narrative that transcends time and genres.

Set against a backdrop that includes segments dating back 1500 years, “Kanguva” promises a blend of historical intrigue and contemporary action, offering viewers a journey through different epochs woven seamlessly together.

Joining Suriya in this epic adventure are an ensemble cast including Bobby Deol, making his mark in Tamil cinema, alongside Disha Patani in her Tamil debut. Supporting roles are portrayed by talents such as Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, and BS Avinash, ensuring a rich tapestry of performances.

Visually stunning cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and deft editing by Nishadh Yusuf are set to complement the film’s narrative depth, while the musical score by Devi Sri Prasad adds emotional resonance and energy to the epic saga.

“Kanguva” is poised to break new ground in Indian cinema with its release in 38 languages, including versions optimized for 3D and IMAX formats, amplifying the immersive experience for global audiences. Produced collaboratively by Studio Green and UV Creations under the stewardship of K E Gnanavel Raja, V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, and Pramod Uppalapati, the film embodies a synergy of vision and execution aimed at redefining the boundaries of cinematic storytelling.
