Chennai: Tamil Nadu BJP President, Annamalai, has stated that even if he goes abroad, he will continue to point out the mistakes of the ruling party and issue statements criticizing them.
He made this assertion during a press meet in Chennai, ahead of his departure to the University of Oxford in London for further studies.
Annamalai said, “I am leaving tonight to study at Oxford University. Even if I am abroad, the fight with the ruling party will continue. My heart will always be here, and I will continue to engage in politics. I will keep issuing statements pointing out the ruling party’s mistakes. The fight will go on.”
He also announced that the BJP’s membership drive will commence on September 1st, with plans to travel to rural areas during September and October. Annamalai highlighted that Prime Minister Modi at the national level and H. Raja in Tamil Nadu will be the first to join the BJP as members during this drive. He encouraged people to join the party by giving a missed call to the number provided by the BJP.
Annamalai took a jab at Chief Minister Stalin, stating that his previous foreign trips ended in failure. He emphasized that the BJP’s upcoming membership drive would focus on reaching out to villages across Tamil Nadu.
