Spiritual speaker Mahavishnu, associated with the “Paramporul Foundation,” has found himself at the center of controversy following a recent speech at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. The speech, which reportedly offended some, led to a formal complaint by Vijayraj, a differently-abled individual, at the Saidapet police station. Upon returning to Chennai from Australia, Mahavishnu was arrested by the police and is currently under investigation.During the police interrogation, Mahavishnu reportedly clarified his stance, stating, “In the past, I have spoken at various events like this. My intention was to raise awareness and guide people on the right path. There was no malicious intent behind my words. My speech has been misunderstood. I am guided by the Siddhars.”
The incident has sparked discussions about the interpretation of spiritual teachings and the responsibility of public figures in their discourse.
