Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that after completing field assessments in various districts, he will also focus on reviewing party activities.
In a letter addressed to DMK cadres, he wrote:
“Criticism is commonplace in public life, so the Dravidian Model government continues its welfare work undeterred by baseless opposition.
On the 22nd, I inaugurated various welfare schemes in Namakkal district, including the newly constructed Karunanidhi Centenary Bus Station. During the event at Bommakuttai Medu, I distributed welfare benefits worth Rs. 146.56 crore to 16,031 beneficiaries.
The Dravidian Model government is committed to advancing the welfare of the Adi Dravidar community through social justice programs. During my tenure as Deputy Chief Minister, I proposed a 3% internal reservation for the Arundhathiyar community within the Scheduled Castes category. Over the last 15 years, I am proud to see the community make progress in various spheres due to this reservation. On my recent visit to Namakkal as Chief Minister, I engaged with the Arundhathiyar community, listened to their needs, and was pleased to hear their gratitude for the Dravidian Model government’s efforts to fulfill their requests.
I have pledged that every scheme introduced by this government will be fully implemented. Starting in November, I will conduct on-ground reviews in each district to oversee the implementation of these projects. My first visit will be to Coimbatore on November 5th and 6th, with plans to continue this across other districts.
The field assessments will proceed, as will the Dravidian Model governmentâs achievements. After completing the field reviews in each district, I will also review party activities,” stated the Chief Minister in his letter.
