Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, L. Murugan, alleged that the DMK government in Tamil Nadu has stalled the state’s overall development.Speaking to reporters at the Ranchi airport during his visit to Jharkhand to attend various events, the Union Minister sharply criticized the governance under Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
When asked about the DMK’s aim to form the government for the seventh time in 2026, Murugan said, “Under Stalin’s leadership, the DMK government has completely ruined the state’s development. In the last three years, there has been no progress in Tamil Nadu. The state is plagued by drug trafficking, and only Stalin’s family has flourished in wealth.”
Murugan further claimed that the DMK-led alliance would soon disintegrate. “Under the failed governance of the DMK, Tamil Nadu is regressing,” he added.
The Minister’s remarks highlight the ongoing political battle between the BJP and the DMK in Tamil Nadu, with the former sharply criticizing the state government’s performance.
