Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has questioned School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, asking why his own child can learn multiple languages while underprivileged children are being denied the same opportunity.
Responding to Mahesh’s X post, where he claimed “Science is our third language, and Tamil Nadu’s education system is the foundation for the Indian education system,” Annamalai criticized the DMK government for rejecting central funds meant for ICT education from Class 6 to 10.
“Your child can learn multiple languages, but poor children cannot? What logic is this?” Annamalai questioned, slamming the government’s stance on language education.
