CSK will play a must-win match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) today. Their batters have been struggling, and without Ruturaj Gaikwad, their best player, things have become harder. Even MS Dhoniās return as captain after Gaikwad’s injury could not help them win their last match.
CSK have found it difficult to face spinners at home, so playing this away game might give their batters a better chance to perform. Now, they must step up if they want to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
The Lucknow pitch, traditionally slow, has been better for batting and that is suiting the likes of Nicholas Pooran, who is striking the ball as cleanly as ever for LSG.
