The Marxist Communist Party has announced that it will not vote for C.P. Radhakrishnan in the upcoming Vice Presidential election, despite him being from Tamil Nadu.According to a statement from the party’s national general secretary, M.A. Baby, their Members of Parliament will not support Radhakrishnan because he is a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The party believes that his election would not bring any significant benefit to Tamil Nadu, as he would not gain any substantial power in the new position. The decision highlights the party’s firm opposition to the BJP.
