Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has raised concerns over the proposed Goods and Services Tax (GST) reforms. He said any changes that do not protect the revenue of states would not be helpful.

Stalin stressed the need to safeguard state finances and ensure fair decisions. He also said that any tax cuts under GST reforms should directly benefit the common people.

The Chief Minister shared his views on X after a meeting of finance ministers from opposition-ruled states in Delhi, where the proposed reforms were discussed.
