Chief Minister M. K. Stalin said he was proud to witness the results of the state governmentâs efforts in the field of education.
He was speaking at the launch of the Education Excellence Tamil Nadu programme held in Chennai.. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy also took part in the event.
Stalin said that for centuries, caste had prevented people from accessing education, but that barrier was now breaking down. He noted that when students progress, families improve, leading to the growth of both the state and the nation.
Highlighting the governmentâs initiatives, Stalin pointed out that the Pudhumai Penn scheme has encouraged more women to enter higher education. He added that the new programme was a step towards honouring students and promoting excellence.
The Chief Minister said he considered it a moment of pride to see the fruits of hard work before his eyes.
