The first look poster of the upcoming Tamil film Rage has been released, introducing audiences to a fresh cinematic venture featuring new talent and a gripping storyline. The announcement comes as the film completes its principal photography and enters the final stages of post-production.Produced by Anamika Ravindranath and Abishek Ravindranath under Iyakkiproductions, Rage is directed by debut filmmaker Sivanesan. The film stars newcomers Shaan and Sherly Pabitha in the lead roles, supported by a diverse ensemble cast that includes Pavan Gino Thomas, Aryan, Prathosh and Vikram Anand in key antagonist roles.
Veteran actors such as Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ramasundaram, Manikandan and Ajith Goshi also feature in important parts, along with Gayathri Rema, Kichcha Ravi and Kalaa Beemji.
Set against the backdrop of an unexpected event that alters the life of a young man working as a rental car driver in Chennai, Rage blends elements of drama and thriller. The film was shot across multiple locations including Chennai, Kerala and Pollachi, reflecting a varied visual palette.
