His wife, Leema Rose Martin, has been fielded by the AIADMK from the Lalgudi constituency, despite recently joining the party.
Meanwhile, his son Jose Charles Martin is contesting in the Puducherry Assembly polls under the NDA alliance through his own party.
Adding to the political footprint, his son-in-law Aadhav Arjuna is expected to contest from Villivakkam on behalf of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, though official confirmation is awaited.
