Chennai, June 5:

Tamil Nadu has witnessed a strong response to admissions for agriculture and allied courses this year, with as many as 25,330 students having applied so far.

According to officials, the number of applications is expected to rise further as the deadline approaches. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate agriculture programmes can submit their applications online until June 8, 2026.

Authorities have advised eligible students to complete the registration process well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure successful submission.

The surge in applications reflects the growing interest among students in agriculture and allied sectors, which continue to offer promising career opportunities in research, agribusiness, and sustainable farming practices.
