Chennai, June 24:

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced the Group 1 Notification 2026, opening up 26 vacancies in key government departments across the state. These positions are among the most prestigious roles in Tamil Nadu’s administrative services.

The vacancies include 12 Deputy Collector posts, 8 District Registrar posts, 3 Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies posts, 2 Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes) posts, and 1 Assistant Commissioner of Labour post. These roles are vital to the functioning of the state’s administrative and revenue systems.

Online applications will be accepted from June 30 to July 29, 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and complete their applications within the specified timeline.

The preliminary examination is scheduled for September 6, 2026. This will be the first stage of the selection process, followed by the main examination and interview.

With limited vacancies and intense competition, aspiring candidates are encouraged to begin their preparation early and apply on time to secure an opportunity in these highly regarded government positions.
