Chennai, Aug 11:
DMK president M.K. Stalin has asked the party’s MLAs to strongly put forth their arguments in the Assembly and give an effective counter to the ruling party on issues raised during the ongoing session.
The MLAs met Stalin at the DMK headquarters, Anna Arivalayam, in Teynampet, Chennai. With the Assembly session currently underway, all DMK legislators are in the city and met the party president as a courtesy call.
During the interaction, Stalin issued a series of instructions to the legislators on their role and conduct in the Assembly.
He asked the MLAs to present the party’s stand firmly on issues and ensure that their arguments are backed by facts and strong points.
Stalin also told them to give a strong rebuttal to statements made by members of the ruling party and effectively highlight issues concerning the people.
