Actor Dhanush unveiled the official trailer of Immortal, the upcoming horror thriller starring GV Prakash Kumar and Kayadu Lohar in the lead roles.
Written and directed by Mariyappan Chinna, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 4.
The trailer opens with a mysterious couple from another era gathered around a bonfire before shifting to the present-day lives of the lead characters. GV Prakash’s character is searching for a house when he encounters Kayadu Lohar, who is looking for a roommate.
What begins as an unusual companionship soon takes a dark and disturbing turn, with the trailer hinting at a supernatural attraction and a series of terrifying events. The film appears to blend romance, mystery and horror, with the relationship between the lead pair forming the core of the narrative.
The cast also includes TM Karthik, Kumar Natarajan, Lollu Sabha Maaran, Aaditya Kathir, Arshu Maharjan, Pema Tsamchoe and Sunita Shrestha.
Sam CS has composed the music for the film. Arun Radhakrishnan is the cinematographer, while Rajesh M has handled the editing and Siva Sankar the art direction. Stunt sequences have been choreographed by R Sakthi Saravanan and GN Murugan.
