Chennai: Actor-producer RK Suresh, who acted as baddie in Thaara Thappatai and Dharmadurai, has turned hero hero with Billa Pandi. The movie is all set for release this Deepavali.
Sources say that even before the film’s release, the remake rights for Hindi have been sold. “The remake rights were bought by Arihant, son of producer Ashok Kumar. The Hindi version of Billa Pandi will go on floors from January.”
The movie chronicles the life of an Ajith fan. The story is set in the backdrops of Madurai. Actress Indhuja and Chandini Tamilarasan play female leads in the film. Suresh said, “Billa Pandi’s script rides on Ajith’s life. It is about his dedication and the self-confidence. It is an action-comedy and also rides on emotions.”
