Jaya death: Arumughaswamy inquiry panel summons OPS

Chennai: The commission headed by retired judge A Arumughaswamy, probing the circumstances behind the death of chief minister J Jayalalithaa has summoned Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam to depose 20 December.

The commission has also asked Health Minister C Vijaya Baskar and former minister C Ponnaiyan to appear 18 December. The panel was set up in September 2017. So far, it has examined various persons, including doctors who treated the late chief minister during her hospital stay in 2016.
