Following Visaaranai by filmmaker Vetri Maaran, based on the novel Lock Up, which was a huge hit besides garnering critical acclaim in international circuit, director Krish is making a film, Zhagaram, which is based on another Tamil novel, ‘Project AK‘, written by Kava Kamz.
Actor Nandha, who made a re-entry with Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam, has been roped in to essay the lead role. Eden Kuriakose, who did films like Irukku Aana Illai and Thiraikku Varatha Kadhai will be seen romancing Nandha.
The film is about a few youngsters of the 21st century who go in search of hidden treasures. What starts off as a city-centric subject, leads to various other places like Mahabalipuram, Thanjavur and Coimbatore. It’s an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
