Chennai: Social activist Traffic Ramaswamy has moved the Madras High Court, seeking a CBI probe into the Kodanad video case that has put Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami under the scanner.

Ramaswamy’s case is that it would not be right for the Tamilnadu police to probe the case as the matter involves the Chief Minister.

The Kodanad case is snowballing into a major issue with Palaniswami’s name being dragged into the 2017 murder and burglary that had several twists and turns.

The recent video of the case, released by media house Tehelka, says that the mastermind of the break-in, Kanakaraj, was in touch with Palaniswami after he became the Chief Minister.
