Erode: A TNSTC bus travelling near Karuppagounden Pudur village near Gobichettipalayam in Erode district capsized into a pit yesterday. Fifteen school students and a woman sustained minor injuries.
The bus carrying 40 passengers was proceeding from Gobi to Athani. Many of them were children going to school.
According to media reports, the bus lost control after it tried to avoid a motorist and fell into a pit. The injured were treated and discharged from the Sathyamangalam government hospital.
