Shahrukh & Lion King

Shah Rukh Khan says he fell in love with THE LION KING for the way the movie narrates a story based on a relationship between a father and a son.

Bollywood’s King Khan and his son Aryan Khan have lent their voices for King Mufasa and his son Simba, respectively, in the Hindi version of Disney’s upcoming live-action film The Lion King. “The Lion King has been, for not just me, but for so many people around the world, one of the favourite films that they have enjoyed with their families and kids,” Shah Rukh said.

The Lion King follows the adventures of Simba, who is to succeed his father Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands, and narrates a tale of how he rises up to the occasion despite several attempts to bring him down by his villainous uncle Scar.

Salman Khan recently took to his Instagram account to share a dance video with Dabaang 3 director Prabhudeva.

Along with Salman the video also features producer Sajid Nadiadwala and actor Kichcha Sudeep. The video was captioned as ‘Dance class from the master himself Prabhu Deva’. However, this is not the first time that the Bharat superstar will be directed by the dancing legend in a movie. They have earlier collaborated in 2009 action-drama film Wanted.

John Abraham plays tough cop

John Abraham is back. He plays ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in Batla House. It is based on the real story of the controversial encounter of Indian Mujahideen terrorists eleven years ago in Delhi.

In the encounter, two suspected terrorists were killed – Atif Ameen and Mohammad Sajid and two others – Mohammad Saif and Zeeshan – were arrested. A fifth suspect, Ariz Khan, escaped.

Mrunal Thakur plays the role of John’s wife in the film. It is directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Ritesh Shah. It will hit the screens on 15 August.
