Palaniswami (EPS) on Thursday acknowledged Tamil film star Vijay’s popularity as an actor but insisted that seasoned politicians like himself and his party have a deeper understanding of governing and public issues, as Tamil Nadu braces for the upcoming 2026 Assembly elections.
