The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Chennai City Police on Tuesday filed a cheating case against Chennai Corporation Deputy Mayor M Magesh Kumar and five others including State minister for Cooperation Periyakaruppan’s son-in-law following a complaint from the wife of a deceased businessman from the city.
