India has recorded 7,178 fresh Covid-19 cases in a span of 24 hours, with the number of active cases of the infection going up to 65,683, the Union health ministry said on Monday.

India has recorded 7,633 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases have increased to 61,233, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Tuesday.
