Browsing: Madras HC gets new CJ

There has been a major reshuffle among high court chief justices. Justice K.R. Sriram, who served as the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, has been transferred to head the Rajasthan High Court.

Justice M Duraiswamy, the senior most judge, was appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, in lieu of sitting Chief Justice M N BHandari, who is due to retire on September 12.
