The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has announced a major initiative to improve Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure in its schools and health centres. As part of this effort, the civic body has floated a tender worth ₹96 lakh to carry out WASH-related renovation and upgrade works in 66 Corporation schools and 7 urban primary health centres (UPHCs).
