In a surprising move that signals a significant shift in the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leadership, Chief Minister and DMK president M K Stalin appointed Thoothukudi MP and DMK deputy general secretary Kanimozhi Karunanidhi as the leader of the DMK Parliamentary Party.
