Popular producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is known for churning out commercial entertainers.
For the past three decades, he has been coming out with big-budgeted movies starring big stars including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vikram and Vijay. His last was āSketchā that brought together Vikram and Tammannah.
Interestingly Thanu’s next is an off-beat entertainer. Titled ā60 Vayadhu Maaniramā, it is being directed by Radha Mohan.
It would feature Samuthirakani, Prakashraj and Vikram Prabhu in the lead roles. The rest of the cast includes Induja, Kumaravel, Sharath, Madhumitha, Mohanram, Arul Jothi and Bharath Reddy.
The highlight of the movie is that it has music by Ilayaraja. The entire shoot for the film has been completed. Plans are on for release this August.
Meanwhile Radha Mohan has gone ahead to complete his next directorial āKaatrin Mozhiā that features Jyothika and Viddharth in lead roles. It is a remake of Bollywood hit āTumhari Suluā.
