Chennai: In a shocking incident, an Australian citizen ended his life at a house on East Coast Road here last night.
According to the police, Adam (40), a musician, was found hanging at his house on VGP South Avenue in Panayur.
The police are yet to conform why he took such a drastic step. Adam was living here with his female friend and the duo were said to be in a relationship.
The police did not find any suicide note from the spot.
He was working as a musician in an academy. The police said they suspect he was frustrated in life and was depressed.
His body was sent to Government Royapettah Hospital. A case has been filed and further investigations are on.
Sources said Adam’s female friend will be questioned to find out the reason behind his death. It is learnt that there were no symptoms of murder during initial investigations.
