Chennai: Singer Chinmayi tweeted screenshots from a girl, who didn’t want to be named, alleging national award winning lyricist Vairamuthu misbehaved with her a few years ago. She expressed in detail how Vairamuthu tried to misbehave with her.
Another woman came up with a similar charge against Vairamuthu. Popular singer Chinmayi tweeted them and said such men must be unmasked. Chinmayi also tweeted about how Vairamuthu tried to misbehave with her.
After days of silence, Vairamuthu has opened up now. He tweeted, “I have been targetted by many these days. People are spreading rumours about me. This too shall pass. I am not taking it seriously. Only time will tell truth.”
