Chennai: Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) founder T T V Dhinakaran today said resurrecting AIADMK and providing a government dreamt by former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will be the future plans of the party.

In his anniversary wishes to AIADMK which celebrates it 47th Founding Day tomorrow, Dhinakaran said 90 per cent of loyal AIADMK cadres are with AMMK now and only a few with personal motives and benefits are staying with the party which has now gone into the clutches of traitors.

“Our legal battle to resurrect the party and symbol will continue and we are sure to emerge victorious in it. Even people are supporting us which was evident in the way in which we emerged victorious in R K Nagar by-election. This will reflect in all the upcoming elections as well,” he said.

Minister Sellur Raju

In the letter addressed to his party cadres, he praised the hardwork and achievements done by the party after it was founded by MGR and later led by Jayalalithaa with the assistance of V K Sasikala.

“AMMK was formed to resurrect the lost dignity of AIADMK,” he said. Meanwhile, addressing mediapersons, Dhinakaran said Minister Sellur Raju’s calling Sasikala as Chinnamma even now shows that he is more loyal than those who pretend to be brave and showing that they can call her by name.

“He has spoke from his heart and has said that the AIADMK will be headed by a woman in the future. Already Jayalalithaa was heading the party and even now Sasikala is the general secretary of the party and there is no change in that,” he said.
