Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said DMK working president M K Stalin is making false accusations without any proof in the highways tender issue.
Addressing mediapersons at the Salem airport this morning, Palaniswami said Stalin’s strategy to create a split in the AIADMK has failed miserably.
He further said Stalin has not responded to the questions about the tenders that were awarded during the DMK period. Responding to DMK president’s comment about AIADMK being a circus, the Chief Minister said, “Talent is required to run a circus.”
Speaking about the Sabarimalai issue, he said, “Supreme Court has given a verdict and there is nothing much to speak about it. There is no problem in Tamilnadu like the one happening at Kerala. Police have been given adequate directives to handle any situation.”
Palaniswami also said people should cooperate to ensure that dengue is kept under control.
