Samsung fans have a reason to rejoice as the South Korean consumer electronics giant may soon unveil its foldable smartphone. The company has already announced the dates for its annual developer conference. The Samsung Developer Conference will take place 7 and 8 November in San Francisco.

The company has now shared a teaser which hints that Samsung will finally launch its foldable smartphone there.

The firm took to Twitter to post the teaser. The tweet reads, “The crossroads between the present and the future – Samsung Developer Conference is where you’ll meet the knowledge needed to stay on tech’s cutting edge. #SDC18.”

Recently, D J Koh, the mobile division chief of Samsung, revealed in an interview that the company will bring its foldable smartphone by the end of this year.

So, there are chances that Samsung might introduce its foldable smartphone 3 November. Reportedly being called the Galaxy X smartphone, the device is going to be Samsung’s big bet, especially with rising competition from other handset-makers.

Previous reports about Galaxy X have suggested that the handset is likely to come with a seven-inch display and may not necessarily fold into half. Even though previously we have seen the display as folding into half, there are chances that it may only fold two-thirds so that the top part is still visible for essential information like time, notifications, battery percentage and other things.

Recently, Samsung launched its first smartphone with four rear cameras. The company launched the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone at an event in Malaysia. The USP of the smartphone is its rear camera which consist of 24MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture along with a 5MP sensor for depth effect with an aperture of f/2.2. There is an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor offering up to 120-degree viewing angle along with a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and supports up to 2X optical zoom.

Apart from this there is also a 24MP front shooter for selfies.
