TANGEDCO has announced that electricity supply will be suspended in few places in city on Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm for maintenance work.

According to a press release, the power supply will be resumed even before 4 pm if the works are completed. The power supply will be halted in the following areas.

Flower Bazaar: Rattan Bazaar, NSC Bose Road, Frazier Bridge Road, Evenning Bazaar, Devaraj Mudali Street, Mint Street, Nainniappa Naicken Street, Genguram Street, Raghu Naickulu Street, Pethu Naicken Street and EVR Salai.

Park Town: Ponnappa Chetty Street, Kesava Iyer Street, Ravana Iyer Street, Vengu Chetty Street, E K Agraharam Street, Anthony Street, Paramasivam Street, Rasappa Chetty Street, Perara Street, Edapalayam and Wall Tax Road.

Sowcarpet Central: Godown Street, Narayanan Mudali Street and Lane, Govindhappa Naicken Street, Kasi Chetty Street and Lane and Starten Muthaiyan Street.

Esplanade Section: NSC Bose Road, Umberson Street, Annapillai Street, Union Bank (HT), Mallayappa Street, Anderson Street, Bunder Street, Badriyan Street, Stringer Street, Narayanappa Road Broadway Bus stand, Kandappa Chetty Street, Chinnathambi Street, MMC Mens Hostel and BSNL Office.

Kadaperi: MES Road, Amar Nagar, Part of GST Road, Sanatorium, Moulana Nagar, Renganathapuram, Thiruneermalai Road, Burma Colony, Arputha Nagar, Kasthurbai Nagar, Part of Tambaram, Gandhi Road and Sundram Colony.

Mathur: Mathur and MMDA, Periya Mathur Chinna Mathur, Azees Nagar, Manjamakkam, Aavin Quarters, Edayaman Nagar, Vadaperumbakkam, MRH Road, Manali, Salaima Nagar, Neduchezhiyan Salai, Anbalagan Street, Periya Thoppu and CPCL Nagar.
