Chennai: Given the fluid political situation in Tamilnadu after the Madras High Court upheld the disqualification of the 18 MLAs supporting Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam leader T T V Dhinakaran, the top brass of AIADMK has gone into a huddle this morning.
According to reports, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam and top functionaries of the party are closeted in the AIADMK headquarters at Royapettah right now.
The party had sent out an invitation to the disqualified MLAs to return to the fold and this had created a ripple among the political parties. It is reported that the meeting today would be discussing this issue as well as other intra-party matters.
