Bengaluru: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan Sunday visited ailing Parliamentary Affairs Minister H N Ananth Kumar, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital here.
Stating this, a statement from Kumar’s office said the minister was showing “good progress and recovery” and had been advised complete rest.
“Treatment is on, hence the cooperation of every one is solicited,” it said without specifying the nature of illness.
A six-time Parliamentarian from the city, Kumar has been indisposed for the last few moths and was said to be under gonging treatment in London and New York.
He recently returned to the city and had been admitted to the hospital here, sources said.
