The year 2018 must be the most exciting one in recent times for A R Rahman fans with back-to-back albums and mammoth releases, including Sarkar and 2.0.
Following them, it is now official that cinematographer-turned-director Rajiv Menon’s new musical, feel-good drama film Sarvam Thaala Mayam, featuring G V Prakash Kumar in the lead, and with music by A R Rahman, is all set to release 28 December.
The film is all about how a youngster from an oppressed community becomes an expert in Carnatic music. Nedumudi Venu plays a mridangam expert in the film which also has Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth, Kumaravel, and Dhivyadarshini in important roles.
Filmmakers like P C Sreeram, Vignesh ShivN, Adhik Ravichandran and many others have watched the film and are heaping praise on the content.
Sarvam Thaala Mayam was also premiered at Tokyo International Film Festival and earned positive reviews from critics.
Sarvam Thaala Mayam’s composer Rahman is said to have given nine interesting songs in the film.
