Chennai: Premium bike manufacturer Benelli and Adishwar Auto Ride India (part of Mahavir Group), have announced the relaunch of the Chinese-owned Italian bike major’s bikes in India.
Adishwar Auto Ride India is now the exclusive distributor for Benelli products in India and has 15 dealers currently, with an aim to add 25 further dealers across the country by March 2019.
The models that have been relaunched are TNT 300, 302R and TNT 600i and are priced at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 3.5 lakh, Rs 3.7 lakh and Rs 6.2 lakh. The bike maker is also offering five years of unlimited kilometre warranty as standard. Official bookings have begun pan-India for a booking amount of Rs 10,000 for all three models.
Production and dispatch of the bikes will start in the first week of December, followed by deliveries beginning second week onwards, in a phased manner.
MD, Benelli India, Vikas Jhabakh, said, “A core element of Benelli’s vision in India is to enhance customer satisfaction. On that front, we recently announced revised service interval plans that reduces service costs by up to 34 per cent. Staying true to our commitment, we are also announcing five years of unlimited kilometre warranty as standard, making Benelli the first superbike brand in India to offer such an unmatchable benefit to its customers.”
Benelli is also to launch its new bikes – TRK 502 (Tourer) and TRK 502X (Adventure) models in India, in the first quarter of 2019.
