Chennai: The Senior Citizens Group of Besant Nagar and Mylapore (SCGOBNM) is proposing to launch an educational campaign aimed at temples and devotees, about the need for hygiene and quality checks in places where prasadam is distributed .
A press release said, “We invite dedicated volunteers for this task. They would be provided free basic training in hygiene and quality control. SCGOBNM invites temple managements to co-operate with us . We also invite able bodied volunteers (young and old men ) to contact us.”
