Chennai: Hyundai Motor, country’s second largest car maker, has contributed Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund towards rehabilitation work in cyclone Gaja-affected districts of Tamil Nadu.

Hyundai Motor India managing director S S Kim along with senior colleagues handed over the cheque of Rs 1 crore to Chief Minister K Palaniswami at the Secretariat, a company statement said.

The cyclone hit the coast near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district on 16 November, claiming over 50 lives besides leaving a trail of destruction in 10 districts.
