Chennai: Five persons were grievously injured when the cutout of Ajith Kumar collapsed in Thirukovilur while they were performing milk abhishekam to it as part of Viswasam release.

According to information reaching here, some fans of Ajith clambered on to the huge cutout at Srinivasa Theatre in Thirukovilur, Villupuram district, to perform milk abhishekam on the opening day of his film Viswasam.

But the video shows the whole cutout collapsing on to the ground. It is said five persons were grievously injured in the mishap. They are being treated at a hospital.
