Chennai: The investigative report by a media house on the Kodanad murder and burglary case is refusing to die down. DMK president M K Stalin today said he has sought an appointment with Governor Banwarilal Purohit to seek action against Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
The Chief Minister’s name has been linked to the man involved in the Kodanad break-in, Kanagaraj, who later died in an accident.
Stalin has sought action against the Chief Minister to clear the air surrounding the mysterious happenings in Kodanad Estate, which was late chief minister Jayalalithaa’s retreat. If not, he said the party would approach the courts for redressal.
But, defending Chief Minister Palaniswami, Minister Semmalai said they were ready to face a court case on the issue. He said other parties were jealous of the good work the Chief Minister was doing in the State.
