Chennai: A patient undergoing treatment at Government Rajiv Gandhi Hospital jumped from the seventh floor of the hospital building. According to the police, Sayyed Khalil (36) a resident of Naradu Kuppam, Redhills was admitted to the hospital on 21 December.
He was getting treated for some disorder in his veins. Yesterday he stayed at the hospital by himself as his wife was at home. At 2.30 am, in a bid to end his life he jumped from the seventh floor. Police said he passed away at the hospital and his body was shifted to the morgue. The police have regsitered a under CRPC 174.
