Director Shankar has began shooting for his ambitious project Indian 2. Starring Kamal Haasan and Kajal Agarwal in the lead, the movie has music by Anirudh.
Sources say that Shankar has roped in Abhishek Bachchan to play the negative role. Sources say that Abhishek Bachchan was keen on taking up the project after listening to the script.
Ace cinematographer Ravi Varman is cranking the camera for the film and Legacy Effects is taking care of Kamal Haasan’s makeup. Remember in his last directorial venture 2.0, Shankar had cast Bollywood star Akshay Kumar as villain.
Sources say that Delhi Ganesh, who shared the screen with Kamal Haasan in Punnagai Mannan, Nayakan, Michael Madhana Kamarajan and Avvai Shanmughi, has been roped in for an important character in the film.
